Taste the Source : Merroir & Terroir

For our third Taste the Source dinner, we are exploring the characteristics of food and drink by turning our lens toward the environments from which they came. We examine how the source of ingredients, as well as the influence of a knowledgeable farmer, play a role in the culinary outcome.
Upon arriving at Domestique HQ, you will be greeted by smiling faces, hors d'oeuvres, and a craft cocktail. After the cocktail hour, you will be treated to a multi-course dining experience, with paired wine tastings from the father of Virginia wines, Gabriele Rausse. Much of the dinner will be prepared using live-fire cooking, an ancient technique that can impart deep flavors and a smoky richness into various foods while producing incredible tenderness and texture.
